What to Expect from our Photo Booth!
We love a good party! Catch A Kiss Photo Booths have been to weddings, bachelorettes, corporate events, princess parties, Halloween and bridal showers. Send us a message asking about the date of your party. If we're available, we can then discuss themes. You can browse the photo booth page on our website or we may be able to do a custom booth for you.
We serve the Greater Victoria area from Sooke to Saanich. Anything over the Malahat or on the Gulf Islands includes travel expenses. A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date. The remainder of the booking fee must be paid at least a week before the event. We also send a contract that must be read, signed and returned before the event occurs.. We run wedding photo booths for about 3 hours per booking but additional hours can be added. For parties 60-90 minutes is ideal.
The day of the event we show up 60-90 minutes beforehand to set up. We need at least a 6x6 foot area for the booth 5 feet of space to set up the prop table. We have a number of high quality props and we can customize depending on your party theme. We set up our backdrop, put up our lights , set out our props and then we are ready to go.
Our professional photographer sets a timer and takes as many photos as your guests want to pose for. Guests are also welcome to use their camera phones if they want to immediately upload to social media. All the photos taken by our photographer are uploaded to a secure site a few days later and you are sent a link and a password to download everything in high resolution. You can also send a link to your guests or they can contact us and we will send them the free download. There is no extra cost for digital images.
Once the agreed upon time has elapsed the photo booth will announce a "last call" for those who may not have come over yet for photos. After everyone has had a chance to access the booth we quietly tear down the set and leave you to your evening of partying. We will contact you the next day with an ETA for your photos. It usually only takes two or three days before your photos are up. We only post the best of the bunch. We cull out eye blinkers, blurry pics or unfortunate "drunk" faces.
We love giving out goodies to say thanks for inviting us to your party. Our hostess gift includes a hard covered album of your event. Our lay-flat albums feature a custom layout and make awesome coffee table books to show off your party planning skills! These books retail for $180 but we are giving it to you absolutely free. We also offer your guests discounts on prints, albums and other fun products. Many people use our snapshot prints as thank you cards. Just $2 each.
